New Beginnings: Holy Week

New Beginnings: Holy Week

As the greening of spring (and no small amount of pollen as well) unfurls around us, we are reminded not just of nature’s renewal but also of spiritual renewal; Holy Week, a time of profound reflection and connection, is upon us. It’s a week that transcends the ordinary, marking moments of deep significance that echo through our lives and invite us into a more profound communion.

Palm Sunday: A Journey Begins

This Sunday, March 24th at 10:00 am, we commence our Holy Week. Palm Sunday isn’t just another service; it represents Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, an event full of hope and anticipation. This day also narrates our role is His betrayal. It’s a reminder for all of us, especially if life’s become a bit predictable or mundane, that a new chapter can always begin.

Maundy Thursday: Deepening Connections

As we gather on Thursday, March 28th at 7:00 pm, we delve into the essence of community and love. Maundy Thursday commemorates Jesus’ Last Supper, teaching us about service and sacrifice. It’s a moment to reflect on the depth of our connections where we ponder our next moves and the bonds we share with our friends.

Good Friday: Embracing Life’s Challenges

Join us on Friday, March 29th at 7:00 pm to observe Good Friday, a day that speaks to the challenges and trials we all face. It’s a time to confront life’s rough patches. But it’s also about hope, resilience, and the promise of overcoming, reminding us that even the most challenging moments can lead to growth and new life.

Easter Sunday: A New Dawn

The culmination of Holy Week, Easter Sunday on March 31st at 10:00 am, celebrates resurrection and new beginnings. It’s the ultimate expression of life’s second acts, full of joy and celebration. As we launch our three-week series, “Beyond the Fairway: Finding Faith in Life’s Second Act,” we invite you to explore the deeper meanings and new horizons in your life.

Whether you’ve been away from the church or simply seeking something more, Holy Week offers a path back to those profound moments of connection and reflection to bring depth, reflection, and renewed purpose to our lives.

We welcome you and your family to join us in this journey of reflection, community, and renewal. Let’s embrace the spirit of Holy Week together and find new paths on life’s course.

Blessings!
